After watching some television programs and just out of thinking about it, I think racisim is one of the most idiotic forms of discrimination, although discrimination, as a whole, is just stupid IMO. Share any expierences with racisim here. I personally am totally aginst it, and have minimal expierence with it.

i think if you're offended by racism chances are you dont think too highly of yourself to begin with
if someone hating you based on race is stupid, then getting offended is just as stupid.

Discrimination of any kind is wrong. Why single out just one?
My grandfather is racist. Well, prejudicial more than racist in that he dislikes most black individuals for no particular reason. Sure was interesting when his daughter (my aunt) married my uncle (who is black) lol. Needless to say my uncle and my grandfather don't usual attend the same family function. We either get one or the other. But yeah, based on how I was raised, I can't even comprehend the logic behind a racist mind.
I think it's worse when people are singled out as racist when they've done nothing. The media promotes a society of double standards and racial McCarthism. Don Imus is a good example of this. One crude joke about big women in sports and the media portrays him as worse than Hitler Meanwhile, Dave Chappelle, Carlos Mencia, Chris Rock and gangster rappers go on and on and on and on, almost unchecked.
racism is unacceptable......ignorant racist are one of many reasons why the world isn't united....which needs to happen if we are ever gonna get off this planet......but i do enjoy racist humor......it's the only kind that makes me laugh nowadays

I'm not offended, i just was wondering, why would someone wanna be racist?
I'm offended by it especially when people really put their foot down on it. A bunch of people in my school are racist against Europeans (I'm one of the Europeans). I was speaking to my friend about what we wanted to do for lunch and all I heard was "Look at these stupid white *****es!" And then two other people joined in and started being mean for no reason. I don't get people sometimes.

Seriously though, Racists make me puke. Then again, affirmative action makes me puke too. Basically I think you shouldn't get any special treatment based on your skin color. You know, what Dr. King wanted.:)
I'd probably be considered racist, so.....yea. In Seattle, most black kids happen to be psuedo thugs (and most are really dumb too). There's even dumber white guys who pretend to be thugs, but it's mainly the black people.
