It has no talent what so ever everyone can rap, and don't say "Then you go do it" why would i do something i don't like?

Metal you need talent:

Guitar

Drums

Bass

Vocals (growling/screaming, try doing it for concerts)

Rap:

Nothing

Plus the beats are made with a computer.

Gangsta rap isn't exactly the mainstream stuff of today, if I assume what you mean correctly.

I hate these threads. Someone metalhead who knows nothing of rap goes on and bashes it. It usually causes some rap fan who knows nothing about metal to go on and flame that entire genre. It's ridiculous.

Rappers may not be able to play drums, guitar, bass, and growl vocals at a concert all at once, but many produce their own albums, and many are excellent writers and rhymers.

Lyrics are a touchy issue in terms of quality. The best rap writers can match up with the best of any genre. It's just that they usually have triple or more words and verses in their songs because their voice is their instrument and it's the main feature of the track.

I like Aesop Rock, for instance. His album 'labor Days" is nothing short of spectacular, IMHO. "Daylight" and "No Regrets" are incredible works.
