Rap music is dying

when i say rap i dont mean lil wayne, gucci manne, or all those other skillless rappers that gave rap and hip hop a bad name. I'm talking about the few godd rappers still alive in mainstream the game, ic cube. and the underground rappers immortal technique, Lowkey, black the ripper, Ramson badbonez. And ll the old school OG's Big l, biggie, tupac, Nwa, Wu tang and on. Anybody agree that MOST of todays mainstreamrap and hip hop is garbage. Remeber when people used to rap about their fellings, their hardships and their ;lives? Now it's all Titt**s and F***ing Bi**hes

i dont totally agree with it being dead (yes all thge old school good rappers are dead except Nas) but like i said just listwn to underground rappers, it repressents exactly what rap should be people spitting the truth like immortal technique. On Gamespot.com, yes, it is. Overall I disagree. There are still some good rap out there and even in mainstream. But personally, you metal heads can listen to your music. I stay with my country, rap, hip-hop, r&b, pop, classical, spanish, and rock music (non screaming crap).

Yeah right. I totally disagree with that statement. There are new rappers who are "underground" who show up every year. In fact, Underground has been booming with new artists, and they are quite good (redundant). Mainstream, however, is dead. The only way for rap to die entirely was if everyone on the planet just stopped liking it instantly.

Also, whats with everyone thinking that dictionary rap is the only kind of rap that's good?

Mac Miller, and Wiz Khalifa are actually, one of the very few actual Hip-hop artists. They use simple yet clever lyrics. They make music for fun and not for money (though you know they love it). Hip-hop at its core is supposed to be fun and entertaining. I don't wanna have to "study" every rap song I hear because sometimes its better to just be able to press play and listen.

J.Cole, Skyzoo, and Jay Z is all the dictionary rap I need.
