Rate The Last Jedi (some spoilers?)

It's mostly shit, not as shitty compared to Force Awakens, but shittier than the prequels.

I never really liked it. When I first left the theater I was thinking about a 7, but the more I thought about how badly made it was I'm now more like a 5.

I watched The Last Jedi twice and I thought about this film very much. Finally, I think what The Last Jedi is average. It isn't good and it isn't very bad. I don't like The Last Jedi, but I don't hate it.

After watching it a couple more times, pretty good, better than most movies but not great for a Star Wars movie. Compared to other movies in general, probably a 7. Seems like they went out of their way to make things not what people expected.

It's alright. It's not as bad as some crybabies are making it out to be, but it's not very good either. It has some good parts. I enjoyed the lightsaber battle with the red guard. But it also has some seriously bad writing, and they ruined Luke Skywalker as a character.

I give The Last Jedi a 6/10 and some of the stuff in that film was so bad writing, Rian Johnson should have done a better job handling Star War film. I still think Star Wars: Episode 2 Attack of the Clone is still the weakest Star Wars film to date.

Not saying TLJ is the worst Star Wars film, just disappointing.

I'm disappointed in your rating scale, as it only goes up to ten. For TLJ I need a rating system that has that extra push over the cliff.

A solid 8.5/10. There's definitely issues, but nowhere near the amount some people are bitching about. And honestly I really hate the mentality of "Your dumb if even dare to enjoy this movie!" that some people have taken with others.

Some of the deleted scenes made the Finn and Rose story better.

It's not just "bitching" tho that is present. There is a boatload of problems with the movie. If you want to see them in tedious depth check out this guys video series. He does a stellar job analyzing the film and showing how flawed it and most arguments defending it are.

I'm watching it for the first time and I can't really place my finger on what I don't like about this movie. It's.... boring and bland so far. Nothing's standing out. 5 so far.

Personally I wanted the whole sequence with them gone from the film.

Yeah they were pointless, padded the film, and added nothing to the story.

Anyway I gave it a 6/10. I didn't like what they did with the Luke character at all. It's like a different story now.

But I guess fans would be upset if they were cut completely from the film.

I don't know. Did anyone really go to the movie for Finn and Rose?

I hope not.

it just felt like a very long winded way to demonstrate that there were many oppressed people out there ready to support the rebellion.

but nonetheless, despite that and a bunch of other questionable stuff, i thought it was a really enjoyable film that was just probably half an hour too long
