Rate this band(Kings Of Leon)

I don't like their first few albums but I really like Only by the night and I like the one that came out today Come around sundown, 8/10.

Started good with their first couple of albums then got a lot more bland later on.

They were once a great band but the last two albums were garbage! they really dissapointed me!

To be honest when only by the night came out it was like watching my favorite sports team (St Kilda) lose the grand final

2 out of a possible ten. Expressed as a decimal, this gives them the miserable looking number of 0.2, which I feel is deserved because their songs, aside from being bad IMO, stick in my head.

Youth and Young Manhood, Aha Shake Heartbreak and Because of the Times period - 9/10

Only By the Night and Come Around Sundown period - 7.5/10

They've lost a lot of what made them a truly great band. I'm a massive fan of them, but their last two releases have been a bit of a let down, however in saying that, Come Around Sundown was an improvement on Only By the Night.

Probably an 8/10 from me. I could listen to some songs all day and then some others I don't really dig so much. I listened to Radioactive the other day and didn't find it that great. Maybe their other new songs will be better. I love the lead singer's voice. :P

Generic, bland etc.

They have a few good tunes. They totally sold out on Only By the Night though.

The vocals are whiny and the lyrics are about as emasculating as a violent castration. No male, regardless of his sexual orientation, should be allowed to sing such wussy verses.
