Well I live in East St.Louis, IL. It was rated like top 5 murder capitols in the U.S a few times by the F.B.I...
If I had to rate where I live, it'd like a 2/10.
Too much crime, not enough to do in the city, I mean I am very close to St.Louis, which is nice, but too much crime and gang activity and just a lot more needs to be done to save this place. Just not a good place to live.
I live near London, UK, and I give it 9/10. My area is pretty nice, not too many anti-social teens or much gang crime. The weather is average; it can be sunny, it can be rainy, but never too hot or too cold. People are pretty friendly on the whole I guess. But there are just a few problems; the increasing population means less jobs, and more traffic. The almost complete lack of religion in the area means that social tolerance is at an all time high.
Mobile, Alabama, greatest place I could imagine 9.5/10 We have the GMAC bowl, Senior Bowl, Leprachauns, a Battleship, and we're on the gulf coast, so beaches.
My house... 4/5 It's where I grew up during middle and high school. I can overlook a few things about the people living there but all in all it's a good place to be.
My dorm... 4/5 You get used to people coming in at 2 in the morning drunk. Not to mention everyone playing "Sweet Child O Mine" on Guitar Hero 2.
Guelph, Ontario - 9/10. I hate living here, but all in all it is probably the best place in Ontario to live for education. There are 7 highschools, a university and a college, which is great for a city with a population of around 100,000.
I live in south Sacramento, if anyone knows anything about it, they know how dirty and crime filled it is. But the surrouding areas are really nice, like Cirtus Heights and Roseville. South Sac: 3/10, actual city of Sac: 8/10, surrounding areas: 10/10.
Toronto 9/10- there's a lot to do, and it's one of the best cities in the world, area where I live 5/10- there's an industrial park right behind my house, and I prefer living Downtown in a condo anyday.
