Son all the way - I could teach him the ways of being a man. Plus, a son will make more money and carry along our family name.

I want both eventually, but I think a daughter because girls are more likely to leave home and can have a guy look after them. If i had a son like I am he'd be living at home and I'd be stuck with him for too long. >_>
A son would be nice to carry on the family name, although some will argue if that is a good thing. A daughter would be just as nice.
If I wound up having children I wouldn't mind either.
I'd be bound to f*** 'em up somehow either way
I would rather have a son.I couldnt imagine having a daughter and her bringing home a boy,i would literally watch his every move
I'm leaning more towards a son. My main problem I'd have with having a son though is if he knocks up a girl and she's against abortion.
Both.
I wanna be that father that sits at the table cleaning his gun the first time his daughter brings a boy home.
Son. I hate girls, they're annoying.XilePrincessI agree, but I'm a straight male so I have to walk head held high into that **** storm until I find one tolerable enough to put up with. :P
Son. I'd teach him all my bad habits and why men should make women sammiches instead of the other way around. >.>
that's a terrible thing to ask!
all i care about is it being Healthy.
that's going to be his name... Healthy.
Daughter, no contest.
I can honestly say that if I had a son I would not love him as much as a daughter just for being male.
Good question. I'd rather have a daughter because it would be a lot more stressful to raise a son. A son is naturally going to be drawn towards me [his father] and I don't think I could handle things like taking him camping, to sports games, talking to him about how to treat women, etc. I would always be afraid that I'm not doing enough or that I'm doing too much. Having a daughter would take a lot of that pressure off.
