I want both eventually, but I think a daughter because girls are more likely to leave home and can have a guy look after them. If i had a son like I am he'd be living at home and I'd be stuck with him for too long. >_>
son. easier to deal with and im sorry but teen girls are just really slutty lately. no way id want my daughter going out looking like some of the girls i see in school
Ideally I'd like a son and a daughter. A son for carry on my legacy and a daughter for well, to experience the joys/hardships of raising my own little princess.
When I get to that point I'm sure I'll be happy with just a healthy baby. My sister just had a baby girl today. I can't stop staring at her picture. That being said, I've always kind of wanted a baby boy.
If I were to have children, my main objective is to not totally f*** them up and try to see things from their point of view rather treat them as a chore. Naturally, this would be an easier job with a son as I can relate to the growing pains of being male but assuming that I don't remain a single parent at any point in my life, I wouldn't be too bothered either way.
Good question. I'd rather have a daughter because it would be a lot more stressful to raise a son. A son is naturally going to be drawn towards me [his father] and I don't think I could handle things like taking him camping, to sports games, talking to him about how to treat women, etc. I would always be afraid that I'm not doing enough or that I'm doing too much. Having a daughter would take a lot of that pressure off.
I wanted a son... mainly because I'm a guy and know how guys are.. so I'm not looking forward to the stressful (for me) teen years... oh.. I have a daughter :P
