Finished 'The Picture Of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde last week, I'm reading "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens now.

Did you read anything interesting as of late, if so what was it, what did you like about it and would you recommend it somebody else?

"Ninety Eighty Four," "Animal Farm" and currently in the process of reading "Coming Up For Air."

I also have about 4 other Orwell novels ready to read, and a awesome copy of Moby Dick I got for $2 yesterday at my university book sale. Hard cover and all. Near perfect condition.

Sounds like a real bargain, I remember reading Moby Dick, but never actually finishing it again. Maybe I should lend a copy from the library again.

Probably one of thebest books I've ever read, "Skinny Legs and All" by Tom Robbins. If you're still on the fence about the whole god thing and how screwed up the world is, then check this book out immediately. Its a complete mind-****.

Yeah - while reading the UK's national paper 'The Times' - it said that when jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA you have a 98% chance of death as when you hit the wather at 75mph your ribs break and you drown in your own blood....  However in August 2006 one guy survived the jump...

i read a book about the evolution of mathematics from bout 600 BC to nowadays with all the biggest mathematicians who made the most impact on revolutionalising maths. it's quite astonishing imaging that some of the theorems we know in the present day have only been round for bout 40 years. hell; even limits have only been round for 400 years. i find it fascinating...
