Yes, I read the Russians want Alaska back, adds to their already vast oil reserves. It's right next to the uber-sized Canadian Central-North American Republic or whatever so it'd just make more sense to go to them. Canada has one hell of a military after all... >_>

EDIT: I especially think their intentions were obvious with the fact that every other chunk says "Will be part of ___ or will be under ____ influence" whereas Alaska is just "Will go to Russia" :lol:
