If someone spites you, remember it. If you come across a dead Raven (you have to find it dead, not kill it) pick up it's corpse and place it on the front gate of the one you hate (you must still feel hate for the person for the curse to work). Ill fortune shall befoul the occupants of the house. Apparently, there is no taking back the curse, it stays for as long as your alive.

For some reason, I want to believe in it. Maybe I still have some Gothic tendencies in me.

Anyone else know of any real life curses. I might try them out and tell you the results. Not on myself of course.

It only works if that other person believes in the same curses as you do.

There is no such thing as curses. It all depends on how mentally tough you are......

I am Italian and wear the horn around my neck. It is supposed to prevent malocchio (evil eye), which is a curse from fueding families. I do not know the folklore about how to bestow the curse, but I do believ that it has to be done while you are cooking a pot of spaghetti.

My grandpa came over from Italy when he was young, and we go down to his house every Sunday for spaghetti. (which is the best spaghetti in the world) Maybe he puts curses on people when he cooks it. :o

I hope he did. It wouldn't be a true "old country" pot of spaghetti unless he did...

Yeah you would have to be a bit of a skank to do something like that, but then all curses seem to involve something growse. I bet that Italian one with the spaghetti probably has to have the chef spit in the saucepan or something.

I'm quite superstitious when it comes to blesses and curses. I always used to like Tom Hanks as an actor even when his films flopped, because he reminded me of my older brother. I wished he would do well and hit the big time, always remained truely faithful, then eventually, he did it.

As for curses, well. I never had a grudge on anyone famous, but everyone I hated from school, grew up really ugly and live in a council houses.

Oh I forgot to mention! Regarding Tom Hanks, he no longer reminds me of my brother, since they got different hair now. He no longer has my support and now his career is slowly going downhill.

And it's always a Raven, because when a Raven cries, a man dies.
