I love Big Brother!!! I just watched the latest episode (recorded it, that's why I'm watching it so late). I'm pretty sure we (I'm Canadian) have our own version, except it's French. I'm guessing it's in Quebec :).

I'm sure there is a Big Brother: Canada and a Survivor: Canada.

Have you lived in Canada very long? Seriously. Waiting for the bus to get to school in the dead of winter is Survivor in itself. They don't let us join Survivor because we'd win too easily. Same with Big Brother. We're polite and cheery all the time, nobody can hate us. We'd win popularity-with-the-team shows easily too. (Disclaimer though, I've never watched BB, I've just seen snippets and from what I understand you win challenges doing stuff and people vote you head of household, so basically it is a popularity/not sucking contest right?) Quebec would be excluded from everything though, they have stupid contest rules.

Yea you can stand the cold, but can you stand... THE HEAT?! I hear Canadians complain about 10 C weather, and here in America, what is that like 70? 60? That's a nice comfortable weather.

It'd be 50 F, and while it doesn't match up to the highs in places 1500 miles closer to the equator, we get highs up to about 100 F or 40 C. I live in a rain shadow/desert climate and it gets pretty hot here, nobody complains about the weather. In fact, I've never heard anybody complain about the heat. We love it. It's humidity (and in big cities, smog) the Southern US has that makes a lot of people from the North uncomfortable.
