The thing is we DON'T all believe that the earth was created in 6 days 6000 years ago, and teaching that in school goes against some religious beliefs.

EDIT: There is no proof that earth was created in 6 days, and the creation theory contradicts the evolution theory. Is this a joke thread and I fell for it?

I agree that evolution should not be taught as fact in school, but merely should be used as an example of how to go about the scientific method. The same goes for global warming. Why are kids being taught that evolution is a fact and that global-warming is human caused when there is just as much evidence on the contrary?

I don't agree with reason 3. We don't know that the earth was created in 6 days 6000 years ago, and we certainly don't all know that if it is true. And as for reason 5, he never said bees sting either, but they do. So really, that isn't enough of a reason to believe evolution isn't real. It really just comes down to faith. Since evolution is technically not a fact, you need to have faith that it exists.
