Reasons why GT is better than GS

Sure, I have been a long time GS user, and I'm not saying GS sucks or that GT is a thousand times better than GS. But I watch all my gaming vids there since it's in HD and decided to make an account yesterday and already I've found some major ups.

- HD videos

- You can buy actual games and game accesories using GTD's

- Interface is cooler

- Rules aren't as strict ie. You can swear

I will eventually find some more, but for now thats it. Once again I'm not saying GS sucks, in fact I still am, and for a long time will be, a proud GS user.

I go there for videos; I come here for OT. I like both of em equally. :D

HD videos are on GameSpot. I don't see the point though, unless you're wanting to watch these short clips on your TV. >_> I buy games from Amazon. Why use a review site? GS looks nicer in my opinion. Swearing? Yeah, that's really... something.SolidSnake35

Only paying memebers of GS get HD videos, those with free accounts get the low rez stuff, that's why I use GT for videos and GS for forums.

The only reason I come here is to post here...on occasions I look up games.

GTD's are nice in theory, but just about everything that is worth getting is sold out...all the time. The videos there are a lot better, and they have better exclusive videos, such as the Gears 2 stuff (level flythroughs) and I love the Screw Attack stuff. Their articles suck though.

Yeah but it should be a crime to watch the new Gears 2 trailer in low rez. I just love the high rez stuff it looks so good. :P

I don't care about any of those things, and I'm actually kinda happy swearing is kind of watched on GS. Those other forums are a mess.

Besides, Gamespot has OT and Unions, basically the only things I check out nowadays.

Gamespot has the best forums out of all of them imo. Content wise, I don't look at anything here outside of the news sections, and 90% of the time the forums post it first.

GT forums is a breeding ground for trolls. Here, we have SW to filter it out. GS>GT.

In my opinion tbe Gamespot community is so much more grown up than the one over there, nothing is ever taken seriously there, every thread gets the same boring meme related replies, every mod is on a constant powertrip,

Just because the rules are more relaxed over there. it doesn't make it a better place.

It's also the only site I know where the admim/staff openly give other users information on your IP. It happened to me twice.
