This site has a list of good names for a pitbull.
ConkerAndBerri2
Don't name him something like 'Potato Salad' that you are going to regret in a year and a half. (Why did I name him that?)
If anything, you could just give him a human name, it's also good if it has a hard vowel sound in it, because dogs respond well to vocal tone, so think of that as well.
You could call him 'Davey.'
or Lucas
Remember, whatever name you give him, he's going to have that name forever, so make sure it's something you like and will be happy with.
Why would you want a pitbull? All the time in the newsi hear of pitbulls killing/maimingpeople and killing other animals, they are uncontrollable animals which need to all be shot, one tried to attack my border collie onceso i picked up a piece of wood and gave it a good hit in the head, you should reconsider getting one.

No. Just no. It's all how the dog is raised.
In fact some site had a list of the top 10 most aggressive dogs. Pit bulls, Rottweilers, Dobermans, German Shepherds, all these dogs that are considered mean and aggressive... weren't on the list. In fact it was mostly small dogs, like Daschunds and Chihuahua's.
On topic: When choosing a name you should keep it to 2 syllables or less and just one word. Easier for the dog to learn and respond to.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? my brothers pit is a part of a 25 year bloodline and hes the nicest pitbull ive ever seen, he has never shown any sign of aggression, the news only shows the bad side of pitbulls, they arent an aggressive breed, its irresponsible owners that make them aggressive. but im guessing youre just trying to piss me off...damn flamers...[QUOTE="loft8000"]

As i said, i have seen pitbull attack my dog and the owners were family friends and not irresponsible, yes there can be good pitbulls but overall they are ugly, aggressive things thats only use would be in the police force. Plus the news may show only the bad side like you saidbut then again when it happens so frequently like 1-3 times a week, hmmmmmmm.

I never see pit bull attacks in the newspaper. :|
And they use German Shepherds as canine units. Why? NOT because they are aggressive, but because they are extremely smart and loyal dogs.

Lol, so im going to listen to some random list of someones opinions of most aggressive dogs from "some site" as quoted by you. But your partlyright there are some really aggressive small dogs.

Conker is right. While some breeds are more violent then another, every type of dogs behavior is due entirely to it's master. I have a pit, and she wouldn't hurt a fly.[QUOTE="loft8000"]

Well it may range from place to place, as where im at pitbulls are generally loathed because all the time theyr attacking people and killing peoples pets, basically noone wants them, and its not any certain pitbulls attacking, its just random pitbulls, I think you should only own one if you can train it exceptionally well.
hmm so D-bo and Beta would be good names for the dog to understand i was calling him? i was thinking Leon too after my favorite RE character lol.Don't name him something like 'Potato Salad' that you are going to regret in a year and a half. (Why did I name him that?)
