recommend death metal bands.

Two newer bands I really like are Suicide Silence and Whitechapel, but I think they're technically more along the lines of deathcore.

The DM albums held in highest esteem are Morbid Angel's Blessed Are the Sick and Deicide's Legion. Gorgut's Obscura and At The Gate's The Red In the Sky is Ours are my personal recommendations. A few other good bands are Immolation, Massacra, Atheist, Sepultura, Incantation, Therion, and Morpheus Descends.

Besides these bands, I don't listen to much DM because the vast majority of it is a ****-fest.

Necrophagist in my opinion is horrible.

Anyways, some of my favorite Melodeath bands are Dark Tranquility, Frozen Glare, Opeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom and Ensiferum (Viking/Folk Metal).

I also really enjoy In the Woods... but they're more along the lines of DC.

In Flames. they're melodic death metal, and IMO they're one of the better bands out there. listen to their older stuff. :Pgameguru25

It was syncronized boyband dancing. With white dresses. And teenage girls everywhere. No, it was metal. Not Melodic Death Metal, but still some form of metal.

Only song I particularly enjoyed off the album was the title track. After playing TTL on GHIII a lot I finally started to like it. Everything else to me was pure ****.

Try Job for a Cowboy. I personally don't liek them b/c their songs are alost the same.

And try Wecamewithbrokenteeth . They are pretty good but the songs are short.

i know this type of thread has been done almost as much as girl help threads, but want you to recommend me some death metal bands. currently i like demilich, behemoth, necrophagist, and... thats it actually. btw, please do bother recommending cannibal corpse. there are 2 good songs theyve made, and they are hammer smashed face and from skin to liquid. everything else sounds the same, kinda like the ramones, or coldplay.Xeros606
