I'm off work today and since it's a week day I really have nothing planned with anyone. What are some good movies to rent/go see? I was going to rent maybe 4 or 5. If a good movie is in theaters right now tell me and I'll go watch it too.

I don't have netflix just a truck and a local video store and movie theater lol. I mainly like action moves and stuff, where **** is blowing up all the time. I especially love war movies such as Saving Private Ryan etc...oh and most super-hero movies are good to me. I watched all the Spider-Mans and junk. I think I might go see Watchmen or rent Iron Man.

Night Watch is pretty awesome...but it might spoil the book for you a bit. It's in Russian, and the subtitles are animated. It's really cool. P.S. It's "recommend to me some movies to watch..." "Recommend me" would mean I was recommending you to something...which I'm not! I'm seriously not trying to be rude, I just can't help myself (I'm a classical languages major, grammar is what I do!). Edit: Spelling!

If you haven't seen Star Trek or Up go see them.

Rent the LOTR trilogy if you haven't seen those.

The Hangover is hillarious. If you want to see a "real" movie though I would rent Gran Torino, Doubt, or Frost/Nixon.

Up is a film you got to see to believe.

Describing the film is kinda hard as it could give too much away. I think it's best to just see it and be surprised.
