I mostly listen to metal, but I don't want any suggestions for that.

I'm talking about rap. No new crap though. I've been listening to Public Enemy and NWA, so could you guys recommend me some artists similar to them?

Thanks in advance.

Is that an album? I would prefer albums over specific songs.

Beastie Boys (I'm listening to their newest album right now, and it's absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best, if not the best, album of the year)

K-OS (Just recently starting listening to him)

MF Doom

Blue Scholars (A local indie hip-hop group that went to my high school. They're actually a good group, as well as excellent lyricists)

It's technically not out yet (comes out June 26th), but it's called "The Mix-Up." It's not really a rap album though because it's all instrumental. Here's what it sounds like: http://youtube.com/watch?v=L8uQXtpUxok

Get Ice Cube's solo albums Amerikkka's Most Wanted and Death Certificate. The Bomb Squad, the production team behind Public Enemy's music, produced all of Ice Cube's Amerikkka's Most Wanted.
