I agree that SportsCenter spends too much time on the two teams...but you can't deny the popularity of the teams across the country. If you do, you must not watch any of their away games. I'm a Red Sox fan, and I despise all the attention they get...I can get that from my local stations.

The cubs have just as many fans across the country as any other team in baseball. Sucks they can't play better and get more coverage though.Â

Exactly. The Red Sox and Yankees are perennial favorites and usually make it to the postseason...that's why they get the coverage, and the fans at their away games. I agree with you though...I wish they covered the teams equally. I can hear about the Red Sox whenever I want...I want to hear about the rest of the league.
