I'm from Philly and a Phillies fan as well as a Sox fan and I could see my Phills throwin 15 mil a year at Lowell. I really dont see the Sox paying that, especially since ARod is avail. now.

That's the green monster for you. I didn't think the rockies had a chance in the series, Beckett and Schilling are two of the best postseason pitchers around and with the Sox lineup there was too much offense for the Rockies.

Maybe the Phillies should try to throw some money at ARod. I think ARod is still one of the best ball players around but not sure if he is the proper fit for the Sox.

First of all, its Fenway PARK, and second of all those "homeruns" you're talking about were basically pop flys that went off the wall, they would be outs in any other ballpark.

hahahahahhahahaha I have to laugh at this like no other. The Rockies swept my hometown team. They were the hottest team in the league going into the postseason. They have one of the best offenses in baseball. They have some good young pitching. Sure, there are better teams that didnt make it, but bad? The Rockies are a solid team and my Sox we just the better team. We could beat any team in the league. Justifying the Sox winning the WS for any reason other than the fact that theyre the best team in the league is ridiculous.
the Rockies should have had won games 2 and 4 but they didnt thanks to some bad decisions by their manager still they had a great run so congratulations to them and to the 2007 world champs the Red Sox.

Watch baseball much?Going into the series the Rockies were the team to beat. 21 in there last 22 games, swept the NL series, the team was on fire and honestly if they didnt have that break they probably would of had a better shot, but they were in nway a bad team.

After the game, when the local stations were televising the punks causing trouble, the police started moving them down Boylston, towards Copley Square...and towards my car. Then I saw a Yellow truck close to my car get tipped and started shouting at the police through my TV to start using bullets.
