Relationship gurus of OT! I have a good one for you.

So yeah. Lets start in the begninng. A little over 2 years ago I started going out with this girl. We will call her Shelly. It was al good for the first year or so, but then for some reason that I cant remember I broke up with her. For the next entire year she tried to get us back together in any way possible and it worked a few times for a few weeks at a time, but never stuck. Then when I moved from our town and went to university, I stopped talking to her completely.

Another thing to know is that at this time I was a complete douche to everyone and everything. So much so that most of my friends ended up hating me by the end of that year. Not liking who I had become or what I was doing I massively changed and apparently have become an all round good guy.

This is now 7-8 months on. I come back in town visiting family, and after a lot of soul searching and what-not I decided that I still loved Shelly. Well maybe not loved because what do I know? Anyway I got back into contact with her, met up, and revealed my feelings for her. Long story short she shot me down because of how I was in the past and because she now has a boyfriend. I told her I had changed and blah blah blah, but she didnt believe it and she just wanted to be friends.She also said thatif I had been 2 months earlier she would have said yes.

So after talking to a few of my friends I decided to not give up on her just yet. The relationship with her bf isnt very likely to last long at all because the guy is notorious in the city as being a disgusting little greaser. Seriously, he has cheated on all of his exgirlfriends with his current ones.Also I need to be careful about talking to Shelly because if this guy ever took offence to me somehow then I would probably get the **** beaten out of me. Nice guy huh?

Anyway, up to last night I was fine, just being a good friend to Shelly and just being myself, when she started to come onto me! I kind of ignored it at first, but being a guy my second brain kind of took control. Nothing bad happened, just a lot of cutesy stuff that couples normally do. It was after that that she said that its ironic about how after we have stopped going out, that I start being the perfect boyfriend.

So wtf? I dont really need help, I just want to see what you all think of this and what I should do.

TL;DR Some girl that I like came onto me, but she has a boyfriend.

Tell her what a scumbag her boyfriend apparently is, tell her you want her to leave her boyfriend and be with you instead, and tell her to do so immediately.

I've watched both season of Glee so I can safely say I am a professional relationship guru.

My advice: Run away with her and move to another place. Then, live happily ever after. (I may need picture referances of this "Shelly" to give a better solution)
