Remember when G4 was actually about video games?

I just caught tonights episode of Xplay and it reminded me how much I used to like G4 back when it was actually about video games instead of endless cops and cheaters reruns. The only good shows left on it are Xplay and Attack of the Show. So, am I the only one who misses old G4 and wish they would bring it back?

Yeah I wish they would bring back the older stuff but really I would like to see them make new programs that pertain to the interests of everyone.

I have always hated G4 even before they were what they are now because of what happened to TechTV.

It was cooler when it was just games.

I feel this way about TRU tv as well..90% of the shows are just staged.

All I can remember from G4 is cops. :P

I use to love the shows Judgement Day, AotS, Cinematech (or something like that), and X-Play.

Now the only thing I watch on the channel is X-Play and that's only sometimes.

AotS just seems lame to me now.

XPlay was cool. They also showed anime. All throughout the late hours they would show trailers and gameplay. I liked old G4.BranKetra

I enjoyed eye-drops, and cinematech particularly, along with "Extended play" before it was "X-Play".

I remember that one show where people would play team games for prizes. I wanted to go on that show.

Also, robot wars. People would spend months developing their death robots and one might stall at the start or just get smashed by the competition.

Yep, I remember when G4 had shows about Video games and Scifi had an actual science fiction show.

That channel is unwatchable to me now. A lot of the old shows were cancelled except for X-play and Aots.

I still watch it sometimes but it has gone downhill a little. The tech stuff is great, but when cops and cheaters start coming on... Seriously???

I used to watch on my cousin's cable, but the time I got the channel it was changed into G4 :(

well they are bringing back anime this summer with Ironman and Wolverine.

So I'm not complaining much

I neve watched TechTv, but I did watch the good part of G4TV, shows like Xplay, cheat, Icons(which I loved), G4tv.com, judgment day,etc. I wish they would bring those shows back.

victor lucas just said electric playground and reviews on the run/judgment day could make their way back to the states soon so maybe it will come back to games

G4 is now linked with the other channel, which I think is cool because I love the office!

Who remembers X-Play when it was about the laughs and not really about the game reviews, those were the times. That show was great when the drunk link would just storm in during the show haha.

I love those too, but I did enjoy watching Ninja Warrior and Unbeatable Banzuke as well.

I listened to a interview with Keven Pierra a while back saying to keep shows like Xplay and Attack of the Show on air . G4 has to run garbage like cops to pay the bills.

Used to watch it everyday in High School. Can't even remember the last time I've watched it now. Screen Savers turned to **** and x-play became way to arrogant for me to stomache.

Only good thing about G4 now is that they cover all the conferences at E3.

yah it was when games used to have large variety and werent just all 4 hours shooters, and music was also awsome and movies werent just hollywood sequals.

I miss it when it was TechTV. Only two shows I watch is X-Play, AOTS, and sometimes Cheaters, and Ninja Warrior. Personally I liked it a lot better when it was TechTV
