Watching the Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ar-qKACbnkg), I can't help but be disappointed in how the actual gameplay does not represent anything in the trailer. In the trailer, there is extensive destruction, spectacular lighting, more detail, and a slew of other things. I know that the video is just a target render but I really wished we could play games of this caliber. I know, that to do so, requires more work and money, on the companies side, in order to extensively develop a game to be up to par to it's render trailer but I hope next gen will be able to pull this off. What are your opinions. Does a game trailer set certain standards for you that you expect to be met or does it not really affect your opinions on a game.
