He had the hiccups. 

Two cops walked into a room with no windows and found a dead man who obviously hung himself from the ceiling, though they couldn't figure out how. There was no chair beneath him that he might have jumped off of, or a table. Just a puddle of water. How'd he do it?BartSimpson01

There was a policeman at a hotel, and he heard a woman yell "For god sakes, don't shoot me john!"  Then there was a loud bang and a thud.  The policeman went into the room where the gunshot came from and seen a dead woman in one corner, with a lawyer, a banker, and a mailman. He grabbed the mailman and said "You're under arrest for the murder of this woman."  The mailman was guilty, how did the policeman know it was the mailman?
