[QUOTE="Grodus5"]IMHO, I think he should be put in juvy longer for that crime. However, I hate it when teens waste their lives like this. Its so sad. What has this world come to, I know not.UTXII
It really is disgusting, dude. :(
I know. I hate this world (not emo, just like the crime and stuff right now) but this case is by far the most distrubing I have ever heard of. Raping a two year old? Thats just plain wrong. What bothers me is these teens have no thought of their acts. They think its cool, but they can throw their entire life down the drain due to one bad choice. Teens these days need to start thinking of their future, not just the present.[QUOTE="Pearl_of_Egypt"]wtf only 30-40 weeks in juvy? he deserves a lot worse, he's sick. The_Ish
That was for slashing tires, I believe. Meaning he committed the greater crime after he was let out.
A 15-year-old East Wenatchee boy has been sentenced to 30 to 40 weeks in state juvenile detention for the Oct. 1, 2007, rape of a 2-year-old East Wenatchee girl.
nah, it's for the crime. justice sucks, people get more time over issues with money, but when it comes to children it's not as important. lame.

I found that strange as well.....that sentence was pretty damn lenient.....probably because he wasn't an adult.Hopefully he dies and gets what he really is deserved of gettingxSIZEMATTER
While it is gross and disturbing, I don't think death is the right punishment. He is only 15, and needs to learn the consequences, with lots of juvy and cla$$e$ to get his ******* straight.

15 years old is old enough to know not to rape a two year old :| I don't care if the kid is mentally retarded, If someone is going to do this, he has no need of being alive. Him being alive helps the world in no way.
[QUOTE="Darth_Tyrev"]Lesson number one: Never trust anyone.napp123so true, no ones who you think they are.
Cynicism is the only ideology to live by.
his life isn't over. Juvenile records are sealed.rockon1215Actually, it really is. They mentioned the sicko's name in the article.
But I just have no idea what's wrong with the justice system sometimes. I mean this pervert raped a 2 year old!! It doesn't get any sicker than that and all they can do is sentence him to 40 weeks in juvy?? What the hell kind of sentence is that? She gets her innocence taken away and might need psychological help in the future adn all this guy gets is a slap on the wrist? God forbid this guy becomes a serial rapist or pedophile after this.
Lesson number one: Never trust anyone.Darth_Tyrev
it takes a while for people to take that lesson seriously.....don't know y though...:|
That is sick and wrong. How do you rape a two year old????
However, the fact that he pleaded guilty may mean that he repents. "Forgive a crime, but do not forget. For forgetting means that he has insentive to act again. Remember his crimes, and make sure that he remembers the punishment, so he will not act again. If he does act again, then we have to choice to either forgive or forget. However, if you do not forget and are watching, he will not have time to act, and you can still sentance him without anyone else getting hurt."
Enough said.
