well hopefully he was their bad half. I usually didn't like half their songs....
Considering how terrible Slipknot songs are I don't think it would be too hard to find a much better replacement.
As an avid Slipknot fan, I do not see Slipknot disbanding. I hate to sterotype musicians here, but I don't think when all eight of the remaning members of Slipknot are going through the same thing and are working with each other as friends and a family to get through the loss of their friend that they will not write music to cope with the issue. I would understand completely if they did disband, but something tells me they will carry on in honor and rememberence of Paul, either way however Slipknot will never be the same, for better or for worse. Most bands aren't after loosing a member. After Syd Barret was dropped from Pink Floyd, their music changed drastically to reflect the bands attituted and feelings towards the issue and much of their music ties back to Syd and his craziness. Ummagumma, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall all had refferences to Syd in them.
I do not however see Slipknot getting an outsider to play bass, I think if they do decide to continue, the members will stay the same as they are right now and one of the guitarists or another member of the band will be moved to the bass position.
