I think it's a shame what has happened to America. We got all these puerto ricans and cambodians committing crimes all over our nation and we keep letting them in smh. And of course Barak wont do anything about it.AL_GREEN

I think one would be more worried about the growing % of people in poverty...but I guess that is just me. I guess some people see the addition of a little color as more of a threat to their way of life than the addition of people that can't afford to care for themselvesrawsavon

I may not agree with how cultures act all the time, but it's absolutely foolish to not embrace this increase in diversity and spectrum afforded by a different group of people. I refuse to believe this idea that increasing numbers of different groups of people is going to put the world in peril. So long as they're following the rules and regulations afforded to all Americans, I don't see our society turning to ash anytime soon.

Maybe I'm wrong, but having a black man as a president doesn't really seem to be supportive of the negative theories.

But for my own personal desires in life, I'm tired of constantly hearing about it and dealing with it. It's the culture, or lack thereof, that I'm a little tired of. So, when I think about the (relatively) simpler life that Chile has to offer, with a growing economy and general positive attitude of the citizens there these days (and for the forseeable future), it almos becomes a 'no-brainer' for me. My wife still has family there, so we will already have something of a support group as we settle in. I don't have much family here beyone my parents (who, unfortunately won't be around forever), so there aren't too many things I'm tied down to. When my kid(s) grow up, I'm sure they will be living their own lives, and I'll be able to visit them quite often.

Anyway, there ya have it.
