He has been going downhill for a while, but this film really shows he can act. It is one of the best dark comedies I have seen in a while and I highly recommend it. Has anyone else seen this?

oh sweet freaking jesus, I cannot wait to see that.
honestly I dont think ive enjoyed a Robin Williams movie since Mrs. Doubtfire, but I keep hoping.
*correction, I enjoyed his serious roles in One Hour Photo and Insomnia, but thats about it
**Oh yea, and Death to Smoochy, guy was priceless in that
***OK ive enjoyed a lot of films since Doubtfire, but you get my point (?)

He was quite creepy in One Hour Photo. This film though is probably one of his best. It is very dark though, the trailer makes it look light but it is the exact opposite. Also you get to see him completely naked.

I liked that film too. It was weird seeing Edward Norton do comedy but he was surprisingly good. If you like that film you should see Duplex, which Danny Devito also directed.
That's good to know, I like Robin Williams, its a shame that he has been repeatedly casted for trash.

That kid from Spy Kids sure has come a long way...
Film-Guy
Yeah he was great in the film. I forgot he was in Spy Kids. I used to like the first two spy kids films.
I wanted to check this film out but I couldn't find it, which sucks since I haven't seen a good Robin Williams performance since Good Will Hunting. (Yes I'm aware of One Hour Photo. :P)Also you get to see him completely naked.
Film-Guy
I think one movie with naked Robin Williams is more than enough for one lifetime.
Sold!
Just kidding. :P
but is robin williams every truly naked. with so much hair it seems that it would be hard to tell. like bigfoot. Also you get to see him completely naked.

He shaved for this film apparently:P
Robin Williams is sort of weird.
Sure, he's an actual COMEDIAN. But somehow, he seems to be best when he's in a "serious" role.
I think he has the potential to be considered a great actor, if only he'd realize that his comedy movies tend to suck.
go ahead and do comedy in front of a crwoded audience. But when it comes to movies, he's better off when he's dead serious. Hell, the man won an OSCAR for Good Will Hunting. And other than that, people constantly bring up One Hour Photo in which he was a scary-ass sick and deranged man.
We can also talk about Awakenings. Sure, the movie sort of sucked, but Robin Williams' performance was one of the best things about the movie. He stood out in a serious role.
Also, Insomnia. Alright, the plot was only okay. But Robin Williams was GREAT in this movie. He outshined the legendary Al Pacino, he did the character excellently, and he managed to be one of the best things about that movie.
But when it comes to comedies, he just needs to avoid that ****. Seriously. He's far better in his "serious" roles. If he wants to keep on doing comedy, then he can. Just keep that **** out of the movies. Because every time he tries to be funny in a MOVIE, and angel loses its wings. This **** is painful to watch.

Moscow on the Hudson. God, there will never be enough mind bleach for that.

Yeah his comedies are not my favorite films of his. He is at his best when doing a more serious role. World's greatest dad is a mix of serious and comedy, but it is more of a drama. I kinda like the comedy he does in Ms. Doubtfire, and Good Morning vietnam, but those films have a serious element to them too.

He was also naked in The Fisher King. Though you don't get to see very much due to his hair and because the scene was shot at night in a poorly lit park.
How come I never saw this trailer... :? Looks good. Thanks for giving it some attention that it needs.
I always thought he is one of the best actors around, but I think he might be a bit too liberal when choosing what movies to be in

This a million times.
Well I would have watched it were it not for two things:
1. I have yet to find a theater or store in my state that sells films that aren't wide-release multimillion dollar budget blockbusters
2. Someone in the youtube comments spoiled the movie, and if it's true then it pretty much just killed any emotional impact the movie could have had for me
The kid dies
Written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait? Isn't that the guy from the Police Academy movies?jimmyjammer69
It is.
It's already on DVD in the states. I've been meaning to rent it but have been lazy. I've just seen his HBO stand-up the other day and it was hilarious.
