honestly you can't expect OT to maintain its integrity month after month when you have such a high turnover ratechicknfeet

I expect OT to be maintained without any strange rules that actually hurt the posibility of originiality blossoming. The fad thread rule actually deters some good users from making interesting threads, fearing that a similar topic has been created, which would result in a moderation.

Also, let's not for get the Harry Potter Spoilers = Banned deal. That only increased the amount of threads pertaining to that topic. Honestly, I think that these rule threads should be taken down and have people simply follow the TOS. All these new rules are hurting my brain, and they're only stressing people in the GS community.

If everyone followed the TOS, the latter would not be needed. To be honest, the TOS contains all the rules you need, and new rules are being made up that the new users wouldn't know about or fully understand.
