I hate superpacs and how corporations can give unlimited money. I really doubt all the money in the world could get Romney elected... He oozes suspicion and even right wingers seem to not stand him.

I just want everyone to spread the word that the bankers are backing Romney.

Do you even understand campaign finance and bundlers. The money from President Obama's campaign is overwhelmingly from individuals and consists of small contributions.

Romney has a mere single digit percentage from small donors it may have risen but still pales in comparison. It should be clear who the candidate of the people is and the candidate of the 1% is.

Why does it matter where you get your donations from. You get the donation, you get the donation. Simple as that. And don't try to differentiate politicians. They're all the same.

I cannot remember who made the distinction between politics (which is the business of winning favour and votes) and government (which is the business of running a country), but it's an apt one. I'm in turn reminded of Georges Pompidou's sage observation: "A statesman is a politician who places himself at the service of the nation. A politician is a statesman who places the nation at his service."

The source of your donations is extremely important. Not only does it show how popular you are among the average voter (if you have a lot of small donations), it also shows who the politician running is inclined to do favors for.

give me a break. Democrats seem to forget who the **** John F Kennedy is and what the Kennedy's were and are in Massachusetts. Democrats have no problem with people being part of the 1%, the problem is that they don't like Republicans being part of the 1%.

Companies contributing to campaigns, usually both sides, is common practice.
