I typically favor the cops, but this time......I'm not so sure. I don't have all the facts, but I can't see why that woman got slapped then punched in the face.My uneducated guess is somebody is losing their badge.

This was on the news last night. From what someone said in an interview with a local TV station, the girl(s) were being unruly and apparently the cops were called by the restaraunt and when the cops tried to remove one of the girls, the girl in the black dress got up and shoved the cop (mistake number one) and when the cop pushed her out of the way, she then hit the cop (mistake number 2) who then hit her back. The angle that the one video was taken doesn't help.

You never put your hands on a cop (remember the cop punching the girl in Seattle that everyone was up in arms over when the cop punched her after she shoved him?), that is just asking for trouble, especially when they are trying to do their job.

Sorry man, but if a woman attacks and punches like that, she gives up her lady status and I see nothing wrong with this. The cop did not appear to use excessive force, she just got what was coming.

that unhealthy food man. it's like a drug. we should just ban all unhealthy food everywhere and cops won't be punching women in the face. :P

Yea, saw that, but witch was going bonkers on his ass before he did. It's one of those situations where I say yea maybe not the best choice by him, but in that moment I would say over 50% would react the same way. Tell him not to do it again, verbal warning, and move on. The punch probably shocked her enough, and will probably teach her a lesson to not be such a moron. But that is just my take.

I hope the cop gets a month off with no pay. They his wife can slap him.

Oh and she has a nice butt.

Yet i still don't understand why police came up to them...

How the officer should handle it is told the lady in the first seat move so he can deal with the lady siting in the far end of the booth vs trying fight over the table with one.

the lady in first seat was tring push and hold the officer arm. So the officer smacked her. Then she started to swing back at him. So the officer puncher her... Thats all i was able see in the video i watched. Because she was trying swing back the officer punched her to make her stop. He also had number other ways to deal with the issue but i see really no issue with him punching her. Pepper spray Burns the eyes/mounth/nose, Tazer Very sure that would over kill a punch any day... I never been tazed but i don't want to be flaping on the ground getting hit by 50k volts... Stick... sure would leave couple purple marks... So with that said punch wasn't that bad. He could been really stupid officer and pulled a gun out like some officers have done in the past.

I have more of a problem that the officer was trying get the second lady over a table vs telling the lady in first seat move or deal with her first.

I like how in the news story it says that she was just talking to her friends about something random and then all of a sudden the cop comes up to her and starts yelling at her.
