Russian general threatens nuclear strike on Poland

God dammit Poland. You always seem to annoy the super powers. First Germany now Russia!


Seriously though, are we looking at WW3 over a ****ing defence system? That's ridiculous.

Nukes should be used as shields, something to ward other counties off from attacking you. There too powerful for anything! They should never be used until it's the last possible thing left. If Russian use one against Poland...it'll turn into WW3. America and other nations will have to step in. Even threatening a nuke assault is insanity.

i doubt that it would be possible to have a world war with sticks and stones cause the chance is that there would be no quick communications or transport,

This is so **** dumb. Why does the US even need that shield? To defend against who? Iran? lol Yeah Russia and China have nukes but if the shield is to defend against them then they do have the right to be worried. I mean think about when the Russians tried to put their nukes in Cuba. Maybe they think the US are planning to attack them.

Russia threatening to nuke Poland, because Poland has 10 missiles that are supposed to shoot down missiles, not to blow up countries, it seems a little overboard on Russia's part. No wonder Poland would want a missile defense shield though, when Russia's threatening to blow them up they probably figure "hey I guess I need this", plus the Russian invasion of Georgia isn't going to help Russia's neighbors to be more trusting towards them.

Lol I cant help but laugh at the fact that the human race has been around for over 3000 years (maybe longer) and then in the space of 100 years we have 3 world wars and (maybe) destroy ourselves, our Ancient ancestors would laugh at our stupidity.

Yeah right. Poland annoyed Nazi Germany so badly that then they attacked France, Great Britain and Soviet Union :roll: I come from Poland and you don't understand the culture mentality here. After WWII we have been abandoned by Western countries so Soviet Union "took care of us" for the next 50 years. Polish soldiers returning from foregin fronts to the home country where sent directly to siberia. During the WWII 20K Polish POW Officers where murdered in Russia. Now you think that this country after almost 20 years of freedom will kneel before Russia?

The funny thing is that I have been several times in Russia. Common people there are extremly friendly. But the higher ups are messed up.
