I believe my mind has been fucked up enough as it is, but thanks......................Chow_Mein_Kampf
My posting history doesn't go back far enough to my first post. Seems a lot of posts are now archived or deleted or whatever as boards were purged or retired. But I did find this rather early one from around 2005 or 2006. I'm almost afraid to post it, as it will probably show that I haven't really changed that much. Oh well:
I disagree with the implication here that "justice" as a concept has an existence only in the political structure. Justice as a concept arises from the existence of human rights as a concept. It doesn't need a State or an implementation system in order for it to have meaning, any more than human rights would have to have such States or implementation systems as a prerequisite for their existence. As in most cases, the only Objective duties of a Government arise from ethical realities first, rather than ethical realities rising from the existence of a Government. In other words, the right to life exists with or without a Government to implement a system which attempts to either protect the human right to life, or to discourage it with a hierarchy of artificial punishments. It is precisely because we have a right to life that we are justified (read: it is justice) to defend ourselves from such intruders It is also precisely because it is justice to defend ourselves from said aggressors that we are additionally justified in identifying said aggressors by their actions, and removing them as individuals who have proven they will not abide the rights of others."Revenge" as a concept cannot be equivalent to justice, but that doesn't mean that "revenge" isn't just! In that light, a more reasonable question would be "Is revenge a just response to aggression?"m0zart
EDIT: Ok that gave me a headache. I guess I have changed some after all.
[QUOTE="coolbeans90"]lol still don't quite help since I don't even know how many pages I even have in my post history....I guess you could edit the page number in the URL, but lazy.

I guess you could edit the page number in the URL after doing some math (post count/PPP), but lazy.
coolbeans90
I just kept adding 100 until the page went blank, and then did a manual reverse binary search to find the last page.
Then I realized a lot of stuff is gone forever.

I originally did that, but got annoyed by how many pages I needed add and subtracted to finally reach the end of my post histoy. Then it took over 50 pages searching through my history to finally reach my first OT post though...:x
Anyway, technically, my first post here was largely due to a glitch that somehow teleported one of my post from system wars to a thread in OT with the same thread title:
And my first intentional post....I sounded just like Hartsickdiscipl...:x
"What else is new. The Government has been lieing about alot of things. But it seems alot of people still support them. So it's no use in telling anybody about it...."

A satirical post i made in a tin-foil hat thread, about 2 weeks ago.
Ok Football and Rugby are VERY different, if you try to compare them, it is very hard to do. That saying I am going to compare to the best of my abilities, I am American so I obviously have a slight bias, but Football is a much harder sport to a professional at. "Tough" has many definitions, and is not suited for this kind of comparrison.
Rugby is a much more aerobic oriented sport, meaning that they have to have the endurance to stay on the field for two 40 minute halves (I think that's the time amount?), meaning that they CANNOT PHSYICALLY be built like a football player, they might have a good amount of endurance (Strength), but in terms of maximum power, there is no way an aerobic based sport can have the same power output as an anerobically based sport. This means that rugby players require type 1 muscle fibers(aerobic fibers, basically what DISTANCE RUNNERS are consisted of), or have to alter their type 2 muscle fibers (The power explosive fibers, the fibers that 100m dash sprinters use to explode out of the blocks, basically the ones you want for BIG HITS) through conditioning to allow them to last the full time period. This means that they have the endurance, but they SACRIFICE the power to allow for these muscle fibers to last longer. You CANNOT have both a maximum endurance and power.
However, in football, plays last from 2-7 seconds on average probably, for 7 seconds, ANYONE can perform any action (block, run, throw, tackle etc...) at a maximal power output, with the rests between plays, this energy is mostly restored, and then the actions can be performed again, and again, and again. Big explosive hits happen in every game, multiple times. Football players are comprised of pretty much entirely type 2 fibers, they don't need aerobic endurance, because of the breaks, that means that they pretty much only use anerobic power, and this is what you want for a maximal power effort.
It's science that football hits HARDER, weather they are tougher or not, that's a poor word to use and back up, way to many defintions for that. Concussions are a much higher rate in the NFL than any other sport as far as I know. Ever heard of Micro Trauma? Players that never even get a concussion in a career are at risk of early onset of dementia, Alzheimers and other degenerative brain diseases because of constant pounding and the strength of players. THAT is one of the reasons a football player on average will live 20 years less than the average american.
I'd say Rugby has more strength, while football has more power

From "who is tougher" football versus rugby a couple years ago. Lots of blind loyalty to sport, and of course people ignored most of my points.
Here' s the case. I' ve always had kinda overcrowded teeth but when I was 13 or sth even though my parents insisted I decided not to wear braces due to my shyness I guess. I' m turning 19 in March and I have decided to finally do sth for my teeth cuz I really want to have a normal smile. I had decided to use Invisalign but for some reason I 'm not sure if I should wear braces instead. Bear in mind that the cost really plays an important role in my decision even if my parents agreed to pay what it takes. What do you guys recommend? I' m not shy anymore by the way. Also from your experience do braces really repel girls? Ok I know it' s not what women want but it' s just a minor concern. Sorry if this kind of question is old and stupid but I' d like some more ideas. Thanks anyway!

first post was when I first created a thread
Yeah I can't quite be assed going back. If I remember it was something like asking, "What kind of zombies do you think Resident Evil 5 will have? Slow or fast?" but with more lower case and worse spelling.Did you guys seriously went page by page to your first post? That option in order to go straight to the very last page of the post history page is no longer there, at least for me...
tocool340
look at your url... there's a "page=1" at the top. you can change the page number to narrow it down quicker. for example, page=300, page=250 etc... you can binary search your way down to the earliest posts pretty quickly.Did you guys seriously went page by page to your first post? That option in order to go straight to the very last page of the post history page is no longer there, at least for me...
