Didn't make me sad, probably because I didn't know anyone personally who went to that war. But it did remind me of this one poem that was basically exactly what was going on in the picture.

It is a strong picture. It basically describes how the Veterans feel when they go to see the Vietnam wall. Looking at names of people they fought with.

And if you over analyze pictures like I do, that shows how the Veterans suffer from their PTSD when they get recognized of their war days.

Yep, that's a pretty sad picture, may that memorial remind future generations of the costs of war.

It is a very sad pic. I've done two combat tours, one in Iraq, and recently in Afghanistan. There is a special bond between you and your "brothers", and when their gone, their hard to forget. Your bond is so close to these men, it's not like civilian bond. You work, you fight with these men, and you depend on them to watch your back.

I can honestly say I've met some of my best friends in the military. There unlike any friends you could ever meet.

It is a sad picture.

I can't really say I find this one bit sad....For several reason which I won't mention. But god after seeing that picture and then the Vader one...:lol: That was hilarious...
