Songs that had you at tears or almost got you there. Some of mine:

Outkast - Toilet Tisha: One of the best songs about youth suicide out there
Eminem - Stan: Not so sad but depressing since you know stuff like this could happen
Dr. Dre - The Message: Amazing tribute to his deceased brother, "They say real G's don't cry, well if that's true, then I guess I ain't no gangster"
Ghostface Killah - All That I Got Is You: Perfect tribute to his mother
Geto Boys - 6 Feet Deep: Just a good song about unnecessary death

Post some of your saddoes emo kids :P

Most of the songs of American V: A Hundred Highways by Johnny Cash. You can hear him dying just by his voice. Sad stuff, indeed.

Forgot to mention, just got a rap, One Life-The Emperor Ft. Too Poetic, Esthero, the 2nd verse is just insanely sad.

Dir en Grey - Mazohyst of Decadence: It's about stillborn children, so poetic if you understand the lyrics.
Dir en Grey - Embryo: First person perspective on sexual abuse, the way the guy sings it live makes it amazing. The anger and sadness comes out and it's amazing.

I still think it's "Once again, as before, I am alone" by Tchaikovsky. Not even a glimpse of sunlight... brilliantly written.

I wouldn't say it brought me to tears since no song has ever done that...but most of the Dreaming Neon Black album by Nevermore...poor Dane... And an incredibly large portion of doom metal songs:P

A good number of Elliott Smith's songs are pretty sad. Such a shame that he's dead and still criminally underrated.

Also, Nine Inch Nails' "Right Where it Belongs" and "And All that Could Have Been"

Dance With The Devil - Immortal Tech.

It's sad to know that something that horrible could really happen. I hate saying it, but it almost brings me to tears when I hear it.

Any Country song. - It's just sad to think about how horrible country music is. Brings me to tears. :'(

He died from two stab wounds to the chest and the autopsy came back as inconclusive as to whether or not they were self-inflicted.

Billie Holiday - Strange Fruit. I can't get through that song without being spooke into turning it off. It's more of the reason of what the song is about. And I think VH1 had something on TV one night about Most haunting songs, or most tragic songs and I woke up and her "Strange Fruit" was #1, and I turned the TV off and started crying.

That song just paints such horrible images in my head, it's haunting.

The GazettE - Taion About a young girl who was brutally tortured and raped to death

The GazettE - Guren About miscarriage and abortion (possibly)

Dir En Grey - Concieved Sorrow About the lead singer feeling like his love life is over because he is growing older and had a string of bad relationships. There is probably more to it including feeling like his life is over socially and otherwise at a point where he is alone in the world.

Here's some newer ones.

Heurt - Amesoeurs (Neige and a female vocalist...Nostalgic themes; the vocals are almost uplifting but the riff is incredibly cold)
Ruinen - Lantlos (Neige is better here IMO; a harsher piece showcasing modernity's failures; very frustrated)
Sound Odyssey - Novembre (set to clips of Three Colours: Blue)

These are some of my favorites and the ones I always post:

Dirge For November - Opeth (A song about suicide and my favorite by them)
Fire Above, Ice Below - Agalloch (Just reading those lyrics after following Falling Snow and the previous introduction track is breathtaking. The build-up is amazing).

Spiritualized - Lay It Down Slow

I think I've heard sadder, but I don't feel like recalling. What made this song even more saddening was having to first listen to it during the last part of the Prison Break series finale. Those who have watched it would know why.
