What exactly is "ish"?
"Sagging" is an attempt to appear "real" or "ghetto". See, traditionally, sagging originated when parents were too poor to buy their kids new clothes. So you'd get your older brother's pants after he had outgrown them. But you still aren't quite big enough to inherit his pants yet, so they sag when you wear them. But hey, tough luck. Your parents are broke as dirt, so you're just gonna have to sag.
Anyway, with the popularity of the hip hop culture, being impoverished suddenly became COOL. If your parents could afford to buy you clothes that fit, you'd be seen as "acting white". Same thing if you were in the honors classes, or learned proper English. That became threatening. As in, "you think you're better than me because you can afford clothes that fit and because you know how to speak English? Why, I ought to kick your ass."
Then the "big ballin" rap stars would get up on MTV and reinforce this attitude by flashing their bills at the camera and talking about how selling drugs got them rich. But they still have an image to maintain, so they sag their pants in order to "keep it real". That, in addition to intentionally making themselves look ignorant (because the educational system is the white man's trap, and you're a sellout if you bee lernin english, dawg). Of course, lots of privileged kids of all races think that the big ballin rappers are cool. But you can't smack a pimp, record an album, or buy an Escalade when you're 13 years old. Your parents don't live in the ghetto, they live in the suburbs. So pretty much all you can do is spend $200 on a pair of saggy pants (when the people who you're trying to emulate spend $0 on saggy pants...that's why their pants don't fit) and walk around trying to talk as if you were raised by parents who never had an education.
i mostly do it when i forget to wear a belt, and even when i wear a belt, i still do it, but i dont show a lot, like some people in my old school with their jeans waist line almost to their knee caps :?barcx17That's just stupid if you ask me. Why wear pants then?

and to think thats the generation that is gonna be in control in the future... wanna know what's more stupid: people who wear like ten pairs of shorts under their jeans and still sag :?

That seems even worse. I see it all the time when I come back to my hometown.I enjoy a nice pear of jeans that actually fit my form, maybe a little loose or relaxed, but still respectable looking.
That was just ignorant. Its crazy you can say that about a specific group of people you dont even hang around."Sagging" is an attempt to appear "real" or "ghetto". You probably hang out with white people all day yet you speak like you know every thing about "gangsters" and "big ballin rap stars" when your not even one or dont hang out with any. I don't know it just makes me laugh at you because you probably think your smart but your post says other wise.
