I need to decide between these two phones to be my next phone (Yes it is the iPhone 4, not 5 cause I need a phone within the next week).
So I would appreciate it if people could list off the pros/cons and provide their opinion :)

Which version of the Galaxy S are we talking about and which carrier do you have?
I own a Galaxy S Captivate, it's very nice, especially when running Gingerbread.
If you're on a GSM carrier spend the extra money and grab a Galaxy S2, it's hands down the best phone you can buy today, rips the silly outdated iPhone 4 to shreds.
I'm with Bell up in canada. I'm pretty sure they don't sell the S2Which version of the Galaxy S are we talking about and which carrier do you have?

Check out the Motorola Atrix 4G.
Galaxy S by far. I have a Vibrant and it's awesome. If you have a chance you should get the Galaxy S II instead, the thing is a monster powerhouse, makes iPhone 4 look like a firefly, and most likely make iPhone 5 look like a RAZR.
I have the Galaxy S - Captivate and it is awesome. Im glad i got this instead of the iphone4. Plus the android market is bigger and the android OS is better than iOS...so yea go with the Galaxy S or pretty much any android platform. I have not tinkered with one android phone that I did not like.
i would agree that when it comes to basic features Android is the better operating system. But its app market is certainly not bigger. In fact while there are a few kinds of apps which Apple would never allow on their device, the overall selection... especially with games... is much better on iOS.Plus the android market is bigger and the android OS is better than iOS...

Get the Nexus S (preferably the new Nexus S 4G from Sprint). It's an amazing phone, and a pure Google Android phone, which means no bloatware, and the latest firmware (Android 2.3 Gingerbread). I picked it up the other day to upgrade from my HTC Hero, and I absolutely love it so far. I would definitely pick it over an iPhone in terms of features too. Honestly, the Google Voice integration alone on this phone is amazing.
The Xperia Play is already pretty much obsolete. I would say it's only worth getting if you want the slide out gamepad.get an experia play

who wouldnt if someone is a gamer,
I wouldn't. I have both a DS or PSP for serious gaming on the go. For my phone I have other priorities, like getting the best web browsing experience. That means having the best hardware specs. Which right now is a dual core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB or RAM.The Xperia Play is already pretty much obsolete. That's what handhelds are for. If you're getting a phone, phone features should be the top priority. And the Play is terrible at being a phone. Weak and not fully featured. The iPhone 4 and many other Android powered phones demolish it.

I tried the Xperia Play and honestly, it sucks at being a phone AND a handheld gaming systemPlease Log In to post.
