Dark like Manhunt, but follows the movie with death defying "torture puzzles". I don't know how you could incorporate this with great results, but it could be done. Maybe you could control Jigsaw and be the genius, or you are the victim, and you have to find a way out of DEATH. Okay, nows your time to rip my idea. GO!

Yeah, it would be interesting to play at first, but the world would be too small, unless they went outside the movie and had an interactive environment with an area like GTA games and side missions and torture classes it would get old pretty quick

 Although I want that to happen, it's gameplay would be boring. You would already know the ansers from the movie and the game would be so easy.
They could have a Create-A-Torture part to the game, where it lets you create what you want, how to escape, how much time you have to escape, etc. You could have it online and let other people do your challenges. :O
Instead of making it an action game, it should be like one of those old-school detective adventure games. You know what I'm talking about. Those games where you don't kill anyone, you just walk around picking up items and looking at clues. And Saw: The Game could have you as the detective tracking down the Saw Villain. And you get to visit all of the crime scenes, pick up clues, and try to track down the Saw Guy. But the Saw Guy is also laying traps for YOU, in order to keep the cops from catching him. So you'd have to use your smarts to avoid traps.
