SO i am in class right now because I had to turn a midterm in is the only reason. I actually would be on here all day in class if i planned on making it to all of my classes. My school is in the sweet 16 tonight (Western Kentucky University) we made it here by some good shots and a little bit of luck. Well my school doesn't cancel classes there are even classes tonight when the game is on. I am considering this a personal day and taking the rest of the day off from all school or anything that requires me to haveresponsibility. How many of you would do this if you were in my shoes?
As long as you're not missing any tests hell yeah I'd skip, Im sure there is a good party or two going on campus where everyone can watch the game together.

If this game is more important to you than the days classes, go for it.

Dude you in college its your money you have the right to do what you want, I have had numerous teachers in past years that totally support the idea that its your money and if you don't want to go there isn't anyone to say that you have to, best thing about being in college if you ask me no more adminstrative bull like in highschool forcing you to do things
The Sweet 16 is much more important, along with the NCAA Hockey Tourney starting up, unless your bracket is screwed up like mine is, thanks to Davidson :x

If you can get away with and its not going to affect your grades then go for it. I missed one day last year at school because I went to the British Grand Prix with my dad. I only went because the season was really close and exicting.

They are like that in Indiana and Michigan where I'm finishing school ( 1 year left) but we only have Michigan St. and My Hoosiers played like crap as always

Basically, they're the governing body for most American colleges regarding athletics, although smaller schools are part of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics). Think of it this way: teams determine who they'll play during the season by making deals with each other and with their conference, but for postseason play to determine the national champions, the tournament is put together by the NCAA, and tonight is round 3 of 6 for Division I, the largest schools within the NCAA.
Hell no. Some of you guys really don't understand how important the NCAA Tourney is to fans. If I were him I'd skip as well. Pretty much all classes in college are skippable, as long as there isn't an exam that day.
