for example. Most people believe that videogames are for children, wile the truth is, the average age of a "gamer" is 30.

If that's the average, then, considering all of the kids and teenagers that play video games, there must be a lot of fifty and sixty-somethings playing them...

I have a feeling that statistic includes people who play "casual" games like electronic solitaire and crap like that, not major retail games or console games.

I'm not saying there aren't a lot of thirty-somethings that play console games, but that wouldn't make it the average.

Really? I started playing since I was in pre-school.

The ESA (Entertainment Software Association)'s own website says that the average game player is 33.
