You found out your child murdered someone....What would you do? Turn him/her in or turn a blind eye?

Lets say this is your only child and you will never be able to have another kid.

I would turn the little bastard in.

I wasn't going to put a motive in but lets just say it was not for self defense nor was it an accident. It was just cold blooded murder.

I would ask him/her why they did it. Then, depending on their answer, I'd either Approve, Kill them myself, or Turn them in.

I would have to know the situation on why they did it. After that I would decide on whether I should hire a good lawyer or be really ticked and give him some money and sendthem to Canada. Or perhaps I would turn them in if I was afraid they would do it again.

it's very hard to say.

I really have no clue. For me its one of those situations that I would actually have to experience to really know what I would do.

I'd be disappointed, disgusted, and wouldn't know what to do with him.

not sure what prerequisite is required to kill, much less killing my own progeny. it certainly seems like it could be possible, i mean, if my kid can kill someone, i damn well can't let him outdo me can i? :o

The operative word here is "murder", that implies the act ispremeditated and is no mereaccident.I'll have to turn him/her over to the authority

I'd find out the circumstances behind it first, then decide from there. I'd probably help cover up the crime though, regardless, but only after a good spanking and sending them to their room without dinner.

I'd never turn in my child unless they were a legitimate monster.

Killing one person can yield a variety of possibilities as to why my child did that; maybe my daughter was about to get raped, maybe my child was drugged and went on a rampage, maybe space aliens abducted him and mindcontrolled him to kill that clown...Idunno.

Of course I would. I don't care who or what the reason was. My child killed someone. It's a murder. I'm not going to stick up for him just because of that :|

First, I would wonder how it is even possible I have a child, and then I would turn them in.
