School in its later years is quite pointless, High School for example teaches you nothing you either already don't know or won't really ever need to know unless you want to be a teacher. I've learned more since leaving school thanks to the internet, granted without the basic school tutiton i.e learning to read, write & count. I wouldn't of been able to. But i learned how do to all that by the time i was 6, not really as well as i can now, but i had the basics, by the time i left school at the tender age of 12, i knew how to count, read, write and if i didn't i knew you could ask someone and then you would know. Then i went to high school and didn't really learn anything, apart from memorising answers, first two years of high school was basically "Okay, this is what will be expect of you when you do exams and such so lets just run through it all" the third year was just preperation for exams and the final year was either preparing people for more exams while giving them options of what they could do when they leave school.
As you can tell i left school and learned a hell of a lot more through the internet in about 6 months than i did at school for those 4 years...
Schools are also pressing oppresing to a kid, i mean you essentially have to conform to their image of a student and can only go down there set tracks, i mean if they wanted the exceptional students they claim you'd think they would at least give some freedom for unique talents or at least give some different approaches...
