No, I am not asking which character would win in a fight... I am asking which film does OT think is better.

With Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World and Kick-Ass now out, they both sport some similarities; such as: They're both self-aware comic book movies that take advantage of comic book elements for style, they're both not mainstream big-budget comic book movies like a Marvel or DC movie, they both star complete losers for a main character who end up doing crazy things, and they both came out in 2010...

So yeah, I am specifically asking people who have seen both films.
So if you haven't seen both films, don't bother voting until you've seen them both.

So what is better? I personally think Kick-Ass was a better movie.

EDIT: And Gamespot won't let me make a poll anymore? Lame. Just mention your choice in your post, then.

As much as I loved Kick-Ass, Scott Pilgrim surpasses it in both action and comedy. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

Scott Pilgrim 100%. Edgar Wright managed to bring the graphic novels to the big screen, not only making it work but also adapting the style to suit another medium. The visual flourishes, references to films and games and faithfulness to the books pretty much satisfied any doubts i had. Truthfully i'm a massive fan of both Edgar Wright and the Scott Pilgrim books so my opinon is heavily influenced as a result.

I did enjoy Kick-Ass, but mainly due to Nic Cage. The main character himself sort of ruined it for me, since he got on my nerves pretty quickly. Still, it was a good movie, and every scene with Nic Cage and Hit Girl were pure gold, but in the end i prefer Scott Pilgrim.

Scott Pilgrim. I saw it last night. And it was just awesome. They managed to bring the comic book in to the movie. And i i think it was much funnier than kick-ass.

Haven't seen Scott Pilgrim yet. It doesn't have Aaron Johnson though, so Kickass.

Scott Pilgrim, easily. There's no contest, really. Scott Pilgrim successfully managed to do everything that the graphic novel did right. I've never seen anything like it.

I liked Scott Pilgrim better. Honestly thought Kick-Ass himself was kind of bland and all the supporting characters made the movie. Scott Pilgrim, was a great character and the others just added to the great movie.

I love both movies, but Scott Pilgrim was better. The action was EPIC and the humor was unmatched. I also like the characters in Scott Pilgrim more, although they could've made Ramona more likable.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World = my favorite movie of the year!

Scott Pilgrim. Kick-Ass was great, but Scott Pilgrim kicked Kick-Ass's ass.

Scott Pilgrim for sure. Had a great experience watching this movie and want to see it again very soon. Kick Ass is good too though.
