I live in Seattle and like most of the people living in Seattle I am biased, on the choice of keeping the Sonics in Seattle. For those of you who are NBA fans whats your stance on the Sonics moving from Seattle to Oklahoma City? In my opinion I dont know the NBA would want to move the Sonics from a big city like Seattle, to a place in the middle of nowhere and make the franchise smaller.

a dude i went to high school with plays for the sonics.

but i think the sonics need to stay in seattle. just because ok city supported a refugee team for one season doesn't mean they'll be able to support a franchise. but they also do need a new arena. the key arena is a dump.

The city of Seattle is offering the NBA a 300 million dollar plan, to create a new arena.

I think that Seatle should keep the rights to the name the Super Sonics and make the team change their name when they move to Ok City.

Also too I think that my home team the New Orleans Hornets should buy the rights to the name the Jazz since the Jazz originated in New Orleans.

Seattle is going to keep the rights to the name Super Sonics, and Oklahoma will name their team the Oklahoma City Sonic Boom.
