so 4 days ago i was trying to catch the bus while running and i fell down on an asphalt with some rocks and i stand up and tried running again and in less than 4 secs i fell down again so i looked at myself and i was dirty

that is the story

the problem is

both of my knees (according to google) it suffered abrasion

so for the first 48 hours i tried putting bandage on but it is always wet and when i remove it, some of the cotton is left out on the wound and painful

and i saw a sticky water that comes out of my wound and i dont know if i should wipe it off so i decided not to wipe it of and let it dry

so i decided to google it and found out that it was a serous liquid

it is even better cause it makes it dry but whenever i take a bath it becomes wet and turn back into liquid which more liquid comes out of my knees

it has been happening for the past 2 days

it is really concerning me and i dont know what to do

Well I had a really nasty fall on my bike and had that too but I showered everyday. However after it got wet it would dry really quickly though and in like 3 days a scab formed. Keep spraying it with those sprays which fight infection. If it gets infected, it'll be a lot more troublesome.

Any spray that fights infections, go to any supermarket and find one. It's really important for it to not get infected. Once it gets infected you MUST see a doctor to get anti-biotics. And change the bandages daily.

Considering this is my area of expertise I hope you take my advice and ignore the noobs above me. You could do nothing and let it heal or you can head to your local pharmacy or even grocery store and pick up some Neosporin and put that on there so it doesn't get too dry. The later will probably help it heal nicer. You can chill on the bandaids if it has a scab on it. If you must were the bandaids during the day take them off at night when your at home so the area can air out. If the bandaid gets wet definitely take it of and put a new one. You can shower normally. Avoid soaking in a bath or swimming. The leaking fluid is normal. If the area becomes very red and hot to the touch head to your doctor.

Pm me and I'll tell you where you can send your $60 office visit charge:P

To make it simple---everytime you change the bandage put some antibiotic ointment on there. The stuff is greasy and will prevent the sticking(it's also good for healing). If you are unsure about what antibiotic ointment is head to the nearest drug store and ask someone. Once the wound seems to stop leaking serous fluid you can probably stop with the bandages and just continue on with the ointment.

And stop over reacting, it's just a scrape:P It will probably be much better in a few days.

That's just inter cell fluid.... I'm really surprised you didn't know about that already... Just stick some antiseptic on it and a plaster.

antibiotic ointment on there.

He should be using an antiseptic (iodine, savlon) not an antibiotic, an antibiotic will not defend against fungi or viruses
