Share a local band with us

In this topic, share a band from your city that few people have heard about. And yes, you can post your own band in a pathetic act of self-promoting, but only if it's any good :D

I'll start with Duchess Says. They're an electro-punk band, leaning more towards punk than electro. Thing Black Flag with a female singer.

EDIT: Almost forgot, post what city you live in. I'm from Montreal. If you live in a small city and don't know about the local scene, post a band from the nearest big city. Nothing too mainstream though, we're here to hear new stuff :)

Sanuk is a good indie band, and Above The Garage floats between a Guns 'N Roses sound and a Sublime+more rock sound.

Haste The Day is from here too, but they're more national now.

Perfect Paper Airplanes. It's a two man band out of Alma, Arkansas that is going for a vintage Bob Dylan sound.

Luckily, I was able to see them before Jimmy Ryan quit, and I saw them with Stephen Keech singing as well.

Awesome band called The Xcerts, check em out.

Evil Scarecrow. Awesome parody metal band. They're so good, they got a spot on the main stage at Bloodstock Open Air last year. Their set kicked ass.

There is this rather small local band called Nickelback that play now and then in my city. There is also my friends old band called Major Goodvibes.
