This question is for both sexes, despite the obvious imbalance amongst users here. I personally like to keep my lower half shaven, not only because it feels a thousand times better, but because I think it looks better too. And I'll refrain from going into detail, but it's also a lot more hygienic. I didn't really care for it at first, but after just a few weeks of keeping it up, I don't think I'll ever go back. Now, how about the rest of you? What's your take on the issue? EDIT: PLEASE READ: Apparently, I need to clarify this. I'm not asking if you personally would shave your legs, just whether or not you're okay with the general idea of a man shaving his legs.

I would never shave my legs. It just looks weird on a man in my opinion.

I personally don't do it (and I dont think it would look natural looking in my case) but I think some guys would look okay with it depending on things.

I don't shave my legs. And I wouldn't see the appeal of it in a man.

I'm a guy, okay with it, WILL do it when I get out of the house :x I cannot stand looking at it. It's okay when there's little hair, but not when you turn into a yeti. I don't mind yeti hair on other guys though.

If we all live in a world that is genuinely concerned about shaven legs on a man, we may as well live in a Fascist Republic...otherwise, get a life and stop caring so much about others' lives.

If they are a proffesional swimmer or aim to be one, sure otherwise The only points I can think of to do it is because you have a illness, a phobia for hair or just have your own taste of personal beauty. I'd rather keep my leg hair.

For the record, I would like to point out that there are lots of men generally considered attractive by society who shave their legs: - Mixed martial artists - Bodybuilders - Athletes and sportsmen - Clothing models - Actors (even in action movies!) Does anybody think Brad Pitt looked gay in the movie Troy? Does UFC fighter Georges St. Pierre look silly throwing knockout kicks with his hairless legs? Of course not. I don't think most of you guys are nearly as bothered by the idea as you're claiming to be. EDIT: And the question wasn't whether or not you'd shave your legs, but whether or not you found the idea of a man shaving his legs to be acceptable.

I hit "I'm not okay with it". But I really couldn't give a damn whether a man wanted to shave his legs or not (though I think it's a bit girly).

But if 20 years from now I have to shave my legs every bloody day because it has become a social norm, I will punch a penguin!

I see no reason why it should be forced on a man.

Female, don't care if my guy has shaved legs. He can even share my shaving gel.

I'm not diggin' it.

I'd feel terrible if I forgot to shave my legs, but my boyfriend had his perfectly smoothe and hair-free. No, that wouldn't do at all.

I think it's really unusual if you aren't a swimmer, but hey man, different strokes for different folks. I remember in 10th grade I shaved pin stripes into my leg hair, shaved my eyebrows, and wore makeup like Marilyn Manson. I only shaved my leg hairs into pin stripes once, btw.

Eh, its not like thiers any harm inflicted is inflicted upon anybody when some guy shaves thier legs. Despite how unorthodox it may seem to normal males I say let em go nuts.

In the 1960s, people thought men who wore earrings were gay because it was "feminine". Of course, earrings had long been customary in cultures dating back to the beginning of recorded history. So if shaving one's legs makes a man gay then so does hunting bison with a spear.

it may look weird, BUT it makes your leg soooo smoothe. lol I don't shave my legs, but I had to get it done(1 leg only) for a drug test and although it looked weird when ever I had the time I'd rub my own leg lmao:P

Unless you're an athlete where shaving your leg hair would be advantageous, it's as silly as guys wearing lipstick.
