Painkillers and lotion to put on your skin is about all you can do.

It has such a painful but silly sounding name. Shingles.. lol. Its like the Clap or the Drip.

Anyhoo, a lady at my work had it last week. Isnt it like chicken pox for big kids isnt it?

Shingles is extremely painful. I was off school back when i had it around 4-5 years ago for 6 weeks, it just left me drained completly. Just bear through it, take lots of painkillers and thats all u can do. My sympathy is with ya shingles is hella harsh.

How old are you? It's rare for someone young to get shingles. There is some kind of cream called capsacin (sp?) that you can put on your skin. I've also heard them using antidepresssants and a medicine called neurontin to treat the pain from shingles.

Capsaicin yeah it's not that great I used it once for Diabetic Neuropathy and didn't feel effects much, just rest dude don't do anything to agitate it, it takes a while to go but ask your doc or pharmacist they could help.
