Short or long songs?

Long and short are as you define them. I think 10 minutes is long, though you may think that's ridiculously short.

I like short songs, since they tend to be catchy and I can listen to them over and over again in a short period of time.

If the song is good then I will take the time to listen whether it is long or short. Though on my radio I PREFER short because many of the songs they play are garbage that I want to just skip.

Short. I really only dislike longer songs when they have a 7 minute lead in where the opening instrumental is played 13 times in a row before they start the vocals.

Certain hair bands come to mind.....

Most songs I listen to are in the range or 5-10 minutes, a few are 15+.

So, long.

I do not discriminate. The length of a song is not one of the factors I use in judging worth.

I don't really have a preference. If I like a song, its excessive length won't hinder me from listening to it.

My favorite song is nine minutes and thirty six seconds long.

3-5 minute is my ideal song length, but I'll still listen to other songs even if they are longer or shorter than that as long as they good.

A short interesting song beats a long uninteresting song, but there's nothing wrong with a long interesting song. I'm thinking of that Peter Frampton song, where he just goes on and on like he's trying to see just how long he can make a song last. It gets pretty old for me.

I don't have the attention span to listen to a song over 6 minutes long.

I prefer 5 minutes or longer.

Most of my favorite songs are long. Short songs are over too fast for me. I like to savor a good song.

I would personally say the average song is about 3-4 minutes.

I personally dont pay much mind to length. If a song has enough tricks, or has something more to say, please go on, but if its done, its done. Some of my favorite songs are under two minutes, some are more than 5.

Well that's not necessarily true; there exist hour-long techno songs that I would not exactly call "epic".

Usually short, because don't know how to make good long songs.

The longer the better if it's a good song. I hate it when a song goes on for just 2-3 minutes and it's really good. If a song's over 10 minutes it's usually progressional and varied anyway.

A lot of the songs I listen to are shorter than a minute but I also like a few long songs around 12 minutes, so both. Oh and Everything inbetween of course.

My average song i listen to is about 6 minutes long and I consider them fairly long.

i can listen to songs 5min and under. 6 min or over kinda annoys me.

Pisses me off when songs are like 2 min long. Ideally I like them 5-6 min but it depends on the song really. For instance, Mana by Equilibrium is a perfect 16 minute song. I Will Lay Down My Bones Among the Rocks and Roots by Wolves in the Throne Room, for example, is 18 minutes long and I find that a bit too long (but after reading the song title you should know what you're in for). Beautiful song nonetheless.

There is a song by Pink Floyd that is about 22 minuets long, I like songs that are about five minuets long personally.

I love extremely short and extremely long songs.

And I love songs that don't necessarily have a chorus.
