Should banning be implimented for Harry Potter spoilers? (poll included)

Because we all know they're comming. I think it's rather unfair for people to go around the GS forum spoiling a book alot of us have been waiting years for. If you want to mention spoilers, your thread should have a *spoiler* tag in the title. If a person posts spoilers in a non-spoiler thread in order to annoy other users, they should be banned for a few weeks. If they happen to post the spoiler in the topic title, I think a permenent ban wouldn't be going too far. They know exactly what they're doing and should have to deal with the concequences.

I don't really want to have to worry about spoilers over the next few days or week depending on when I get the book while browsing GS.

Sure. Spoiling a book, especially the final book to the legendary 7 book series is just horrible. It's not like people posting spoilers did it on "accident". They know what they are doing.....

They know exactly what they're doing and should have to deal with the concequences.

It doesnt interest me at all from the commercials ive seen and what people describe about it. Im not into that stuff. Dont take it personal just becasue you enjoy harry potter and i dont.

You're right, but it will ruin your excitement while reading the book and no one wants that. Every HP fan wants to experience finding out what happens on their own and don't want someone to ruin the anticipation before even starting to read the book.
