Yes, however that doesn't mean people can't vote according to their religious beliefs. But yeah, governments shouldn't do anything to censor anything at all, and that includes religion.

It is better not to have a religion dictating policy to a government and vice versa.

Many terrible things happen when one exercises control over the other. 

The idea "separation of church and state" is a compromise between two powerful forces so they can exist "peacefully" together.

But when has there actually been a true separation of government and religion? Never.

Simply speaking, any organization, government, religion that is run by mankind will always become corrupt over time.

There is a popular saying about power's corrupting influence that holds true in all scenarios.

When a man rules over a man there is always injustice.

What "I want" is everyone to live in peace, be truly happy, have their own possessions, and no worries.
